This is the 2nd year that we will be partnering with Ping Yi Secondary School. This session set the tone of understanding the need to have a leader and gain awareness about the goals of having a leader, as well as the traits that are required for leadership.
This year, Ping Yi Sec decided to set up the Central Coordinating Committee, a collection of student leaders from various sections of student leadership within the school set up. The key role of these selected student leaders is to assist and serve their school in coordinating the rest of the student leaders, and thus the student body during events and activities. They will be the key point of coordination and connection and communication amongst all the student leaders, such that programmes will flow smoothly.
We still have several sessions with The Central Coordinating Committee, and our Leadership Mentors will be working hand-in-hand with the teachers to ensure that this group of student leaders are aware and up to task to manage the great role and responsibilities ahead!
